Hello!

My name is Rose Cooper-Finger, and I’m the English Teaching Assistant at Freiherr-vom-Stein Gymnasium for the 2015/16 school year.

I grew up in Seattle, in Washington State, and attended university at Scripps College in Claremont, California, where I double-majored in Linguistics & Cognitive Science and Foreign Languages. After college I taught English in Görlitz, Germany, on a Fulbright fellowship. In my spare time I read, knit, go to concerts, get lost in museums, go out to eat (and sometimes stay in and cook) with friends, and explore. I love to travel, and enjoy learning new languages and meeting new people.

I’m excited to work with everyone at FvS. Come check out my AG Conversation Club – we’ll be talking about US American politics, news, literature, culture, and practicing speaking English in a safe and judgement-free space.

See you there!
